Hi Lisa ~ Yes, you do need the mint julep vases!!! I think I have a link to some on Amazon, these actually look nicer than my Safeway ones! 🙂 The silk flowers these days are pretty amazing and I'm glad I can have some color without some of the fresh flower hassle. I'm glad you like my kitchen, it feels so nice to have at least a few rooms complete! I guess I wouldn't have much to blog about, if it was all perfect! Have a great week! ~ J

You're right…they really are making faux flowers that totally look like the real thing now! I also love that they're readily available at places like Michael's and Hobby Lobby. I was telling Kristy the other day that I really need to get some pretty julep cups/vases to put flowers in. I love how they look in the pretty silver containers. 🙂 I love all the flowers, vase, and candle sticks in that first pic! And your kitchen is so pretty!
