Peach Cobbler with Almond Cookie Dough Recipe
This delightful and refreshing recipe combines summer peaches topped with a tasty almond cookie dough. This cobbler is a new version of subtle almond flavor and peaches. Top with a dollop of vanilla ice cream and it is the best summer treat.

Peaches 5 peaches peeled and sliced 2 tbsp sugar Crumble Topping 1 cup shortening 1 cup sugar 1 egg 1 tsp almond extract 2 cups flour pinch of salt 1/4 tsp cream of tartar 1 tsp baking soda
Peaches Peel peaches and slice all five peaches.
Place peach slices on the bottom of a baking dish.
Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of sugar over the peaches and mix.
Almond Crumble Cream Crisco and sugar until fluffy.
Add the egg and extract, and beat well.
Sift dry ingredients and add to cream mixture.
Layer cookie dough on top of the peaches and cover thoroughly.
Bake in a 375-degree oven for 40 minutes.
Take out fo the oven and cool on a cookie rack. Serve with a dollop of vanilla ice cream.
