Parmesan Crusted Halibut Recipe

- 2 lbs halibut You can use Cod fillets as well
- 3 tbs cooking oil
- 1½ tsp lemon juice
- ½ tsp salt
- ⅛ tsp pepper
- ⅛ tsp dry mustard
- ¼ tsp marjoram
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- ⅓ cup French fried onions
- 4 tbs grated parmesan cheese
- 3 tbs melted butter
Preheat oven to 450°
Take four sheets of tin foil and make four fish pouches.
Cut and divide the fish into four equal parts. Place each fish in a tin foil pouch.
In a small bowl, combine oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper, mustard, marjoram, and garlic powder.
Pour equal amounts of sauce over the four halibuts.
Top each fish with crispy onions and parmesan cheese.
Drizzle melted butter over the onions and cheese.
Seal up each tin foil packet and place them in a baking dish.
Bake in the oven for 20 minutes.
After 20 minutes, open the foil fish packets and bake for another five minutes until the onions are crispy.
Serve and salt and pepper to taste.
