Ingredients

Dumplings

  • 2 peaches peeled and cubed
  • 1 can Pillsbury Crescent Rolls 8 ounces
  • ¼ cup butter unsalted and melted
  • ¼ cup water
  • ¼ cup brown sugar lightly packed
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Cinnamon Sugar Mixture

  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish or pan with non-stick cooking spray.

Cinnamon Sugar Mixture

  • Mix the sugar and ground cinnamon in a small bowl until well combined.

Make Crescent Rolls

  • Separate the crescent roll dough into individual triangles.
  • Place a few cubed peaches on each crescent's wide triangle end. Sprinkle some cinnamon sugar mixture over the peaches.
Roll up each crescent triangle, starting from the wide end and tucking in the sides as you go. Place the rolled-up dumplings in the prepared baking dish, seam side down.
  • Combine the melted butter, vanilla extract, water, and brown sugar in a separate bowl. Drizzle this mixture over the dumplings, ensuring each is coated with the sweet butter mixture.
  • Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon sugar mixture over the top of the dumplings. If desired, sprinkle the chopped pecans on top for added crunch and flavor.

Bake Dumplings

  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and cooked through.
Remove from the oven and allow the peach dumplings to cool slightly.
