Instructions
Jello Glass Fragments
You’ll need several colorful gelatin packets (in different flavors of your choice), unflavored gelatin, sweetened condensed milk, boiling water, and cold water.
Prepare the first layer: Dissolve one packet of colorful gelatin (flavor of your choice) in 1 cup of boiling water. Stir well until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
Pour into a pan: Pour the mixture into a rectangular pan and let it cool. I made my jello about 1 1/2 inches thick, but you can make them whatever thickness you prefer.
Repeat step 2 and 3 with a different flavor, gelatin.
White Jello
Once the layers are all set, make the sweetened condensed milk mixture. First, mix together the unflavored gelatin with 2 cups of boiling water. Then, stir in the sweetened condensed milk until well combined.
Create Broken Glass
Once all the layers have been set, it’s time to create the broken glass effect. Cut out shapes in your layers of jello. Place the cut jello in your glass. If you can get the layers of jello to stick to the glass that makes for a dramatic design.
Once you have all your jello filled almost to the top of your glass, pour the condensed milk mixture over the broken glass gelatin layers, ensuring it fills the cracks and crevices.
Chill
Return the glasses to the refrigerator and let the dessert chill for at least 2-3 hours or until the condensed milk layer is set.
