Ingredients

Cheese Ball

  • 24 oz cream cheese Philadelphia's Light Cream Cheese stays solid longer so I suggest you use this type.
  • 3 tbs parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbs mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbs granulated California garlic This is the garlic granules from Costco and contains no added salt
  • ½ tsp salt

Snowman parts

  • 2 slices provolone cheese
  • 1 tbs cream cheese
  • 2 sticks pretzels
  • 13 peppercorns
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 rosemary sprig
  • 1 dried cranberry

Instructions

Make Cheese Mixture

  • Mix the softened cream cheese, parmesan, mozzarella, granulate California garlic, and salt in a medium size bowl.
  • Cover the cheese and place in the fridge to chill for 30 minutes or longer.

Shape Balls

  • Pour some parmesan cheese on a plate.
Create three balls: one big one, one medium size for the middle, and one small one for the head.
Roll balls in the parmesan cheese and cover them thoroughly. Refrigerate the cheese balls. Refrigerate the cheese balls while you make his accessories.

Make Mittens and Hat

  • Mittens:
Take your pretzel stick and place it on a piece of paper. Outline a mitten shape with a pencil on one end of the pretzel. Cut out the mitten and set the pattern on a slice of provolone cheese. Cut it out with a small knife. Cut out two cheese mittens. Flip the one mitten over so that the thumbs of each hand are facing into the body like our bodies.
Place a dab of cream cheese on the end of the pretzel and attach the cheese mitten.
  • Cheese Hat:
Brim: Take a small lid from a jar and place it on your snowman’s head to check the size. Place the circle on a slice of provolone cheese and cut out around the lid to create the brim of a hat.
Hat's Body: Cut a 1-inch wide strip of cheese. Next, circle it around to create a round tube shape. Attach the ends with a dab of parmesan cheese for glue. Hold into place and pinch slightly.
Top of the Hat: Place the hat's body on a piece of provolone cheese and outline the circle with a knife. This circle of cheese will sit on top of the hat.
Building the Hat: Place some cream cheese on the edge of the hat and place it in the middle of the brim. Let them sit in place until they are set.

Building the Snowman

  • Take balls out of the refrigerator and place two peppercorns for the eyes. Next, take a small piece of a carrot for the nose and place it on the face. Then, place about 6 peppercorns in a smile design under the nose.
Take the snowballs and place them on top of each other. The biggest ball is on the bottom, the medium-sized ball is in the middle, and the top is the smallest.
Place the snowman in the middle of a round charcuterie board.
  • Place the hat on top of the snowman and add a few sprigs of rosemary and dried cranberry parts. I did add a little round red candy to look like a berry.
  • Add pretzel arms to your cheeseball snowman.
