Instructions
Prepare the popcorn.
Place the freshly popped popcorn in a large mixing bowl, removing any unpopped kernels. Allow the popcorn to cool completely.
Prepare the baking sheet.
Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
Melt the almond bark.
Place 6 ounces of white almond bark in a small saucepan.Heat over low heat, stirring frequently, until the almond bark is completely melted and smooth. Keep the heat low and watch it.
Coat the popcorn.
Slowly drizzle the melted almond bark over the cooled popcorn, gently tossing as you go. Continue just until the popcorn is lightly coated. Avoid completely covering every piece.
Add the toppings.
Spread the popcorn in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Immediately sprinkle with the Halloween sprinkles and candies while the almond bark is still soft.
Let it set.
Leave the popcorn uncovered at room temperature for about 20 minutes, or until the almond bark is completely firm.
Serve.
Gently break apart any large clusters and serve immediately or transfer to an airtight container.
Notes
For the crispiest popcorn: Make sure the popcorn is completely cool before adding the almond bark. Use only enough almond bark to lightly coat the popcorn, and let it set completely uncovered before storing.Storage: Once the almond bark is completely firm, store the Halloween popcorn in an airtight container at room temperature. For the best texture, enjoy it the day it's made.Variations: Try candy eyeballs, Halloween M&M's, candy pumpkins, mini marshmallows, pretzel pieces, or your favorite Halloween sprinkles.
