Amy's Cornbread Recipe
This cornbread recipe is flawless and comes out perfect every time. It is moist and sweet and almost like a cake. It pairs best with soups and chilis
Servings 12 servings
- 2 cups buttermilk baking mix Bisquick
- 4-6 tablespoons cornmeal
- 1 cup sugar baker's fine sugar works best
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup butter melted
Combine baking mix, cornmeal, and sugar in a bowl.
Add eggs and milk. Beat until well blended.
Mix in melted butter.
Place in greased pan (9 in square).
Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until a wooden toothpick comes out dry.
