Easy Homemade Granola Recipe with Chocolate

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Old Fashion Whole Grain Rolled Oats
  • ½ cup Wheat Germ
  • 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Cocoa powder Unsweetened
  • 1 cup Coconut flakes
  • 1 cup Sliced Almonds
  • ¼ cup Maple syrup
  • 3 tbsp Cooking oil
  • 1 tbsp Water
  • tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup Dark Chocolate Chunks

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 275°
  • Mix together in a bowl, oats, wheat germ, brown sugar, salt, unsweetened cocoa powder, coconut flakes, and sliced almonds.
  • In a small saucepan, mix maple syrup, oil, water, and vanilla extract. Bring to a slight boil, and add to the grain mixture.
  • Mix everything together and place on a greased baking pan.
  • Bake for 40 minutes in the oven.
  • Remove from oven and let pan cool on a baking rack.
  • Once cool add chunks of chocolate to the mix.
