Lemon Aioli Sauce

Lemon Aioli Sauce Recipe is one of my favorite easy sauces to make when I want to add fresh flavor to seafood, sandwiches, burgers, and roasted vegetables. This creamy garlic aioli combines mayonnaise, fresh lemon juice, garlic, and a touch of honey to create a smooth and delicious dipping sauce.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • ¼ tsp lemon zest
  • 2 small clove garlic
  • ¼ tsp Dijon mustard
  • tsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp honey
  • tsp salt
  • tsp pepper

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, grated garlic, fresh lemon juice, lemon zest, honey, and olive oil until smooth and creamy.
  • Add salt and black pepper and stir until everything is well combined.
  • Give the aioli a taste and adjust the seasonings if needed. Add a little more lemon juice for brightness or a touch more honey if you’d like a sweeter flavor.
  • For the best flavor, cover the bowl and refrigerate the lemon aioli for 15 to 30 minutes. This allows the flavors to blend together and the garlic to mellow slightly.
