I had to come up with a summer wreath for today’s blog hop. The other day, I spent many hours brainstorming ideas, and ultimately frustration set in. I think when I’m too distracted by all that is going on around me, I can’t focus.
I hit a wall and the my creativity was zapped.
I changed tactics and quickly rounded up my faux white peonies. And in ten minutes, I created this pretty wreath. I was jumping for joy after whipping up this wreath! Of course, I did my happy dance in the living room.

So, I’m pleased with the results, and I’m happy to share my peony wreath with you today. I think you’ll like how easy this wreath is to make. The instructions are short and straightforward!
Supplies:
Faux Chrysanthemums (or other white flower)
Ribbon
Instructions:
Step 1 – Cut Flower Stems
Using your wire cutter, trim stems so there is only an inch or two left with the flower.
Step 2 – Place Flowers on the Wreath
Take your peony flowers and poke the stems into the straw wreath. Place your peonies even on your wreath. Next place your Chrysanthemums around to fill in the empty spaces.
Step 3 – Make a Bow
Make a bow and attach it to the wreath. I used a sew pin and poked it through the middle of the bow. Make sure to poke in so the pin is not visible.
Step 4 – Hang Wreath
The straw makes it easy to hang this wreath and no need to add a loop. Simply poke the hanger into the back of the straw wreath. The straw is enough to support the hanger.
I’ve made my fair share of wreaths and I’m always drawn to white wreaths. They are so versatile and go with any seasonal decor I use in our home.
But this wreath can be made in any color peony that you like.
Since this project is so easy, I may trying make more variations on this peony wreath!
