When February hits, my brain can’t get enough pink and flowers. It’s like I’m one of those birds flying north for the spring, except my mind is heading straight for spring. Suddenly, color takes over our whole house.
This year, I decided to decorate my home for Valentine’s Day with bold and vibrant hues to showcase my affection. The experience of crafting the table setup during a torrential rainstorm was truly exhilarating. Even though the winter atmosphere outside was dreary, I made sure that my home radiated brightly.
So, let’s dig and enjoy this fun and romantic table.
Valentine’s Table Decor
As I designed my table, I chose a combination of pink and grey hues. The grey serves as a stabilizing force for the pink, adding a subtle yet impactful accent. With my color scheme in place, selecting and creating the rest of the decorations became a breeze.
So, before you dive into your table design, settle on a color palette, and then let your creativity flow as you choose your accents.

Step 1 – Make Cherry Blossom Branches
I found a few branches in our backyard. Since it’s wintertime, they didn’t have leaves on the. I hot glued faux cherry blossoms on the branches.
Then I attached the branches to my chandelier by stringing fishing line through the lamp and branches.
Step 2 – Make Small Flower Bouquets
It felt wrong to trim the flower stems short, but once I placed them in the small vases, I knew I was on the right path. Fill up many mini-vases with white flowers. I used white ranunculus, chrysanthemums, spray roses, and a few white daisies.
Step 3 – Add Colorful Candles
I love my Glassybaby handblown votives. They add such pretty colors and sparkle to any space. Of course, I collect them. Here’s the link to them.
I placed many tapered candles to add color vertically.
And, of course, don’t forget to make a homemade dinner with a yummy dessert! And I have a few more if you’re interested, Strawberry Mochi Recipe, and Crinkle Cake with Phyllo Dough.
