A Review of Earth Friendly Rug Pads from the Rug Pad Corner

My latest focus for our home has been outfitting our wooden floors with area rugs. I find that half the battle when buying rugs is finding the right one to accent the room decor. So, after laboriously shopping around for the perfect one, I was delighted with my choices! Then it came time to install them, and I immediately encountered some technical difficulties. You can imagine that my initial response was to crumble into a ball and let out a big sigh! You are probably wondering what could possibly go wrong with an area rug? :o)   Well, the Dash and Albert rug that I ordered is somewhat light-weight and tends to buckle with every movement. You might say that our family room floor was looking like a relief map of Northern California with all the many hills and valleys! My teenage son would complain weekly about the state of the rug in this room. Well, when Rugpad Corner approached me with their products*, I jumped at this opportunity! The rest of the story is history! I am the Happy Happy Nester after all, and I definitely can attest to being happy with these amazing rug pads! Rug Pad Corner wants to extend a 15% discount to my readers. So when ordering place this code when ordering and you’ll get 15% off everything! Use REVIEW15. Happy shopping!

~ A funny note about the Nester ~
Our first little kitty had a deep obsession with our cotton kitchen rug. Like any spunky kitten, she enjoyed running and sliding on it. Almost every morning the rug would be scrunched up and sometimes straight up the wall! I’m sure in her mind, she was a great huntress!
You can see the buckling in this photo. Now, picture my son complaining about the rug. Oh yeah, if you want to truly recreate the experience, you need to add the teenage know it all attitude!
The Rugpad Corner representative made sure that each of the pads were the correct one for our various types of rugs and floors.
I kind of feel like the rug and the pad began to settle down over the weeks. And as you can see by these photos, things are smooth and beautiful.
Marci and I are happy with the result, so I had to show our fun and happy feet! By the way if you like this Dash and Albert rug, here is the link: Dash and Albert  I love the look of it and couldn’t be happier with our new rug pads! Thank you Rugpad Corner!
So a little background about Rug Pad Corner. Sam Kaoud, the Founder and CEO of the company, has a family background in the rug industry and business. He has always had a deep passion for rugs and through many years he realized that every rug needs the right rug pad. Not only did he noticed that customers ended up with rugs pads sticking to their floors but also the pads were made of inferior quality materials, commonly adhesives and chemicals. As a result, he has manufactured a product that is certified LEED and rated GREEN for air quality. They manufacture natural felt and rubber rug pads in the USA with American materials. Don’t you think this is an impressive quality? I’m so glad that I am a happy owner these great rug pads.
I hope this post was informative and will make you think twice about what is under your area rugs! Leave us a comment, we would love to get your input on this subject!
Cheers,
****

Those things are a MUST if you want to avoid slipping and breaking your neck!
We have them under all of our rugs because they rest on hardwood floors.
