our family room…
our family room has been basically a storage room for all things that don’t have a home! old picture frames, my current projects, recycle cardboard…you name it, we had it stored in this room! so, finally the other day my husband and i decided to convert it into a room that the kids can do homework, crafts, and games in. so, after figuring out the general layout we took a trip to ikea and purchased a great white table. it has two sizes and the extra leaf hides underneath the table. the chairs are from ikea too, i love the turquoise color, i need some boldness in my decorating and these did the trick! right now our store has these fold up chairs for $10! i also bought the white chairs from ikea and i just love how they look and how comfortable they are. i just happened to find two of the white ones in the “as is” section, i got it for 35% off the original price. my friend elisabeth has me trained to check out this section of ikea! love it! so stayed tuned for more updates! thanks for visiting!!!
i had a huge glass cut for the table. since i plan to do most of my crafts on this table, i really didn’t want to worry about damaging the table! So, having the glass for protection was a must.
love this orchid plant i bought from ikea. i placed the roots in another glass vase which i got from the ikea too! our store has them in stock right now…
