Advent Calendar
i’ve been shopping a lot at Ikea lately.  my neighbor and friend is from Sweden and she has been taking me there on her shopping trips.  so, almost every other week i’m checking out Ikea’s latest stock.  their holiday stuff is now in the stores and i came across their fun christmas tree.  they have it displayed with ornaments, but i thought it would be nice to add some advent envelopes.  i bought the printed envelopes at my favorite scrapbook store.  you could make your own, i noticed people have stamped the numbers 1-25 on individual envelopes.  also, if you don’t want to use envelopes you could use little knitted stockings or anything that you find cute. just remember you’ll 25 of them!
here are a few photos that i took while making the advent tree…
i love these advent envelopes
let’s not forget the yummy chocolate!
fun ribbon
bought these cute ornaments from Ikea!
i strung some fun fuzzy silver string around the frame, here is what it looks like… once you have the tree covered with the fuzzy string, attach the ornaments and advent containers.  this is the fun part!
when i create my crafts i’m totally a messy nester!
