Our Trip to Provence France

hello…..

i’ve been tremendously busy this summer, so sorry that i haven’t posted too much!  my kids were off from school and i had scheduled 2 major vacations for the summer.  we just got back from a two week vacation in france and we had a fabulous time.  i was snapping a ton of photos, so i plan to share them with you!  the first half of the trip we stayed in paris and then second half was in provence.  everything i saw was a feast for the eyes! i came back inspired and of course wanting to make a return trip.  not sure my family is up for another major trip for a while. in the french countryside house that we rented in provence the kitchen was incredible.  it was interesting to see the creative ways that the owner, Franck had decorated.  here is a little something that he did to store his sugar cubes.  i love the rustic sugar cubes!  i enjoyed his tin of sweetness every time i had a cup of tea or espresso!  thanks for visiting and keep checking back for more of my summer photos!

Franck lined his old antique tin with parchment paper, what a great idea!  my husband has quite a few antiques from his childhood in vermont.  i’ve always wanted to use one of his old tins, but was always worried about the rust coming off on food.  here is nice solution.
ok, i have to share a photo from my many shots.  here is a picture of one of the markets in the town of Coustellet.
