room diffusers
lately, i’ve been into scented room diffusers and i’m probably driving my family crazy with how many i have around the house! once i get on a mission, look out. i have bought a few and also have made my own. hmm… i know there is probably a medication out there for my obsessiveness. anyway, i love this little home accent since it can just add that nice fragrance into a room and make it cozy. i have one located right near my front door and it gently welcomes visitors with it’s nice aroma. there are so many brands and scents and i’ll just share a few of the ones that i have bought and made. they usually come with a pretty bottle and bamboo reeds. i’m a little picky about the bottles matching the room, so many times i will change out the bottle. let’s face it, if your decor is mostly brown and you have a hot pink bottle, likely those color combinations won’t work out.
prior to buying this product, i had bought a room diffuser at pier one imports. and i found that not all diffusers are created equal. the pier one was very strong and overwhelming and it finally ended up in our garage which i still could smell it in our adjoining laundry room! but, i finally found another brand and this line is my all time favorite. it is subtle fresh linen fragrance that is unusual and not the standard scent. i bought this one from amazon and i ended divided it up into 2 bottles. that way i got to enjoy them in two rooms as opposed to one. here is the link: antica farmacista room diffuser
this is a more citrus scent and is a little stronger than the other line. it is tropical and summer like fragrance. i love the whole packaging of this product and it would make a nice gift for a friend. here is the link on amazon: paddywax diffuser
since i didn’t want the pink bottle with my living room decor, i changed it out with one of my husband’s amber antique bottles. get creative and have fun finding a unique bottle. it make a nice statement and accent in a room.
so yes, i got a little crazy and i ended up making my own diffuser this past fall. here is the cinnamon room diffusser and if you are interested in making one here is my past post: homemade diffuser
