- Easy DIY: No complicated techniques or baking skills needed – just a little creativity!

Ingredients for Your Snow Globe Cookies
- Almond Cookie Base: A sturdy and tasty foundation for your globe. You can use my favorite almond cookie recipe or swap it for a classic sugar cookie.
- Frosting: Frosting is used to decorate and “glue” the globe in place.
- Clear Plastic Half-Ornaments: These act as the globe and can be found in craft stores or online.
- Edible Decorations: Think sprinkles, mini gingerbread men, edible glitter, or tiny Christmas trees for a winter wonderland look.
- Powdered Sugar or Sugar Decorating Balls: For that perfect snowy finish.
Where to Find The Candy
I made a list in my Amazon shop, so if you want to look, here’s the link!
Step-by-Step Guide: How to Make Snow Globe Cookies
Step 1 – Bake the Almond Cookies
Roll your almond cookie dough into about 1/8 cup round balls and place on a baking sheet. Make sure to leave enough room in between each cookie since they tend to spread during baking. Bake for 12-15 minutes and let them cool completely.
Step 2 – Make the Cream Cheese Frosting
Whip up a batch of frosting. This will be your glue to securing the holiday candies onto your cookie.
Step 3 – Decorate the Cookies
Spread frosting on each cookie to create a snowy base. Add your edible decorations while the icing is wet — tiny snowmen, santas, trees, or snowflakes are perfect!
Step 4 – Add Festive Touches
For an extra creative flair, add small sprigs of rosemary to mimic miniature Christmas trees. The natural green adds a beautiful, realistic touch to your winter wonderland scene.
Step 5- Attach the Globe
Once your decorations are set, attach the clear plastic half-ornament to the cookie. Hold it in place for a minute to secure it.
Baking Tip: Make a test cookie first to figure out the right amount of dough for each one. Remember, the cookie should be large enough to hold the globe ornament comfortably!
