Free Easter Banner Printable: Pink and Green Gingham Print

Crafts Decor Decorate DIY Holiday home

Today’s Happy Printable is my free Easter Banner. I’m joining up with Kristen from Ella Claire Blog and many of my friends for this post. You can find their links at the bottom of these posts. If you missed last year’s spring printable, here is my Hello Spring Printable.

As I get older, I realize that holidays kind of blend together. I know I know I’m getting older, but seriously can you tell me what you did last year for Easter?

Well, I do remember one Easter in particular! So, seven years ago, we took our first trip to Italy with our kiddos. We cruised around to many Italian cities, Verona, Florence, Lucca, and Venice, and had a fabulous spring vacation. And since it was Easter, the candy stores were filled to the brim with gorgeous bright, happy displays.

I’ll never forget our cute Venice apartment. When we finally found our apartment rental, we spied the door amongst outdoor seating for a Chinese Restaurant. It was kind of a hoot to wade through the outdoor tables to get to our apartment door.

But, the thing I remember so vividly about our second-story apartment was washing our clothes. The rental came with a washing machine, but we were expected to dry our clothes out on the line.

Now, of course, the clothesline was conveniently located outside our bedroom window, and it was, unfortunately, right up above the outdoor seating for the Chinese restaurant.

And did I mention the apartment didn’t have any clothespins?

Uh-huh, so if a big wind happened to come thru, our underwear would fall right on the diners down below! I was so horrified at this embarrassing possibility that I dried our underwear inside the apartment.

I know it is a long stretch, but today’s printable is an Easter Banner with a cute leaf ribbon and clothespins. Do you see how my Easter Italian trip is weaving into this blog post?

So, I designed this Easter banner this year, and I wanted to make it an easy project for you. The little clothespins are the cutest, and you’ll find it super easy to attach the paper to the ribbon.

The leaf ribbon is one of my favorites, and this just adds a spring garden theme that works with the letters. So, let’s get busy and make the Easter banner.

Materials

10 sheets of white paper (8 1/2″ x 11″)

Print out the Easter Banner Letters ( Download them by filling out the form below)

1-H (green)

2-A (pink)

2-P (pink)

1-Y (green)

1-E (green)

1-S (pink)

1-T (pink)

1_R (green)

Box Cutter with blades

(I feel that Exacto knives move around a lot and I like these box cutters better for trimming paper)

1 Steel edge ruler

Green Olive Leaf Ribbon

Scissors

20 Small Craft Clothespins

DOWNLOAD Printable Here:

Instructions

1. Download printable files.

2. Print out the above letters.

3. Cut out the letter with a box cutter and steel edges ruler. When trimming place your ruler on the inside of the banner, so if you slip you cut into empty space rather than into the printed banner.

4. Attach each banner with two clothespins each.

5. Space out letters.

6. Hang and decorate your home with the Easter banner.

Well, this Easter is going to be quiet over here, but we have a big trip for this summer. So, hopefully, I’ll have many more stories to share with you.

Cheers,

      Hi Jeanette,

I just used our printer paper that I get from Costco it is a little thicker than regular paper. I absolutely had fun with this project. You’ll love the results and it is super easy to make. Let me know if you have anymore questions.
