It’s finally fall in the Waite house, so let’s warm up your kitchen with this sweet collection of Fall Cookies for the upcoming season. These cookie recipes will add spice and spirit to your home by filling the space with the scent of all time. I’ve always loved fall baking, especially cookies during this time of year. These autumn cookies will inspire you to get creative in the kitchen, adding a sweet touch to your fall celebrations!

A collage of four images displays a variety of autumn cookies and treats. The top left shows a plate of cookies with crisscross patterns, the top right features pumpkin-shaped cookies with leaf decorations, the bottom left shows meringue cookies, and the bottom right presents round cookies on a plate.

As the crisp air of autumn sets in, there’s something magical about filling the kitchen with the comforting scent of cookies baking in the oven.

For me, fall and cookies are an irresistible combination, blending the warmth of seasonal spices with the coziness of this time of year.

Whether it’s a quiet evening or a weekend spent indoors, there’s always a perfect time to bake during the fall.

It’s more than just a seasonal treat—it’s a way to connect with the essence of autumn in the sweetest way possible.

Stress-Free Baking: My Favorite Fall Hobby

Baking has always been one of my go-to hobbies, especially during the fall season.

There’s something incredibly calming about the rhythm of mixing ingredients, rolling dough, and watching cookies rise in the oven.

It’s my little escape from the busyness of life, allowing me to unwind and savor the present moment.

The best part? Baking cookies doesn’t require perfection—just a bit of love and patience. Every time I bake, I feel a sense of accomplishment that melts away stress.

Plus, the reward of enjoying freshly baked cookies straight out of the oven is unbeatable.

Let Autumn Cookies Inspire You to Bake More

If you love baking but rarely find the time, let autumn cookies inspire you!

There’s a special joy in creating homemade treats that reflect the season’s flavors.

Whether baking alone or with family, these cookies will inspire you to spend more time in the kitchen and enjoy the process.

Once you start, you might look forward to the next baking session, eager to experiment with new flavors and textures.

A Personal Note from Janine

A decorative table is adorned with a large bouquet of pink dahlias and roses in a glass vase. Surrounding the vase are various plates of cookies and pastries. The backdrop is a floral-patterned wallpaper, complementing the flower arrangement.

When we lived in Seattle, I had a neighbor who was an incredible baker! She didn’t just bake for her family—she baked enough to feed an army! I remember popping by her house once, and she had tripled a cookie recipe. She even had one of those enormous drying racks that opened into four levels, and every rack was filled with cookies!

She was way ahead of the game regarding gingerbread houses, making them from scratch before the kits were even a thing! She’d invite all the neighbors over to build and decorate homes; those are some of my fondest memories with her.

Rochelle is still busy in her kitchen, whipping delicious treats with all her energy, enthusiasm, and positive vibes.

I couldn’t help but think of her this week while I was baking, and I hope this post inspires you to do some fall baking of your own!

Grab a cozy chair, sit back, and hang out for a bit! Wishing you and your family a happy weekend!

Cheers,

Gold and White Fall Decor

September is here, and it’s time to decorate with Gold and White Fall Decor inside and outside your home for the season.

The changing of leaves, the new decorations, recipes, and more make this season one for the books.

One of my favorite ways to embrace the beauty of fall is through home décor, and this year, I’m especially drawn to the stunning combination of gold and white.

This elegant pairing adds a touch of sophistication to any space and uniquely and refreshingly captures the season’s essence.

This Week’s Tip – Marble Rolling Pin

A white marble rolling pin with tapered ends, perfect for crafting fall cookies, rests on a wooden cradle, isolated on a white background.

Marble Rolling Pin

I can’t believe I finally got myself a marble rolling pin—and wow, what a game-changer! The dough barely stuck to it, and I was amazed at how easy it was to roll out my cookie dough without needing extra flour.

If you don’t have one yet, you’ve got to give it a try!

Latest Obsession – Cookie Stencils

A sheet of white paper with intricate leaf-patterned cutouts, allowing vibrant pink, yellow, and green flowers in the background to be partially visible through the design. The scene has a soft, artistic feel reminiscent of fall cookies cooling on a crisp autumn day.

Cookie Stencil

I always thought decorating cookies with stencils would be tricky, but it’s super easy! The best part is that applying the frosting acts like glue, holding the stencil in place on the cookie.

Honestly, the most challenging part is just choosing which stencil to use!
