A Personal Note from Janine

Happy Saturday,

This year, I’ll be celebrating the Fourth of July while flying home from Hawaii. We’ll be spending the next week on the islands, taking a much-needed break from all the craziness.

We recently got a new puppy, so we’ve been staying close to home. Fortunately, my brother and daughter are available to take care of her while we’re gone. With their help, we decided to take advantage of the timing and spontaneously booked this trip.

While on vacation, I can’t resist my love for baking. It’s my favorite way to relax on trips. So, in the evenings, while my husband catches up on work, I’ll be in the kitchen baking up a storm.

Today’s chitchat is all about 4th of July desserts. I hope you enjoy exploring all my latest recipes along with some old favorites.

Bon appétit!
