Free Fall Printable
Today, I’m happy to share my Free Fall Printable. Although, I need to thank Kristen from Ella Claire Blog for hosting this wonderful blog hop of Fall Free Printables. At the end of my post, you can view the list of bloggers and their fabulous projects.
Ok, my paper garland printable has cut out leaves with the words,
Thankful and Autumn.
So, in addition to providing my printable, I want to share something that makes me happy and grateful.
A Note about the Nester
When we traveled to Kazakhstan to adopt our son, we left for on Mother’s Day. After living there for a month
with him, we landed back home on Father’s Day. Now that he is 16 years old, I told him about this wonderful
coincidence. And in my son’s words, he proudly responded, “It was written in the stars.”
I’m over the moon in love with my family.
They are my life.
Our journey to creating our family of four wasn’t the easiest. After many rough and disappointing years of dealing
with infertility, I finally gulped my pride and embraced the world of adoption.
I get choked up when I think that our kiddos were all the way around the world.
And they were waiting for us, they are our forever family.
Our children complete our family perfectly.
I couldn’t imagine my family any other way.
Who knew that two beautiful babies from the country of Kazakhstan would bless our lives with so much love?
Life is good, and I love how much they have enriched our family.
Fond Memories
I remember one Halloween when my son was pretty reluctant about the whole Halloween shenanigans of dress up.
You see he was kind of skeptical and resistant to wear a costume.
My daughter, on the other hand, saw every day as dress up day.
Well, after much coercing, he went out on a limb and dressed up as Steve, the host of the kid’s show, Blues Clues.
Is this show still on TV? So, his costume consisted of a pair of khaki pants, deck shoes, a belt and a green striped t-shirt.
Not terribly creative and wild…
just like my son wanted.
Every door we went trick-or-treating, the homeowner greeted each child with a friendly hello,
and “What a cute princess you are,” and “Oh, my you make a scary pirate!”
Well, when they greeted my son, they would scratch their head and say, “and you are which character?”
We now laugh at all these great moments, and it warms my heart. Don’t you think Autumn is the perfect season to
reflect and be thankful?
Our children have blessed our family with priceless events and memories.
I feel that our family truly is a miracle.
DIY Garland
In addition, don’t forget to create your cute garland, print fourteen leaves from my free fall printable and punch holes on each end.
String ribbon or jute through the holes and add pom poms to the ends if desired.
Finally, hang your garland to create a fun festive fall decor for your friends and family to enjoy. If you want another garland project I have plenty and here is one you might like, book paper garland.
Happy you could spend some time with me. And as my mom would always said,
“thanks a million.”
Cheers,

Thank you so much for sharing templates for your wonderful garland. Also appreciated leaf template for your book page garland. One of my favorite paper crafts is making paper garlands.
I gave up a child for adoption many years ago. I can only hope that child was loved as much as you do your adopted children. Am so happy for you to have your family be so special and important to you. I enjoyed so much the story about how you adopted both of your children.
Happy week
