Crafting Brings Joy to My Space
What I especially love about crafting in the summer is how it adds such a personal and inviting touch to my home.
A handmade piece of decor not only brightens a room but also adds a bit of your personality to it.
From Quick Projects to Weekend Art Sessions
One of the best things about my summer craft journey is the variety. Sometimes, I enjoy sitting down with a simple, quick craft just to unwind.
On other days, I’ll commit to a bigger project that requires more time and focus.
That’s part of what makes crafting so special—it fits into your life, whether you have ten minutes or an entire afternoon.
A Creative Outlet for All Skill Levels
On the blog, I’ve shared a wide range of summer crafts, and there’s something for everyone.
Whether you’re brand new to crafting or you’ve been doing it for years, there’s always a project you can enjoy.
Making Memories Through Handmade Moments
Crafting is more than just creating pretty things—it’s about the memories tied to the process.
Summer is full of relaxed, meaningful moments, and crafting fits right into that vibe.
Whether it’s a solo project, a crafting date with a friend, or something to do with family, I always treasure the memories that come with it.
If you love getting creative in the summertime as much as I do, there’s no better time to explore more crafts.
A Personal Note from Janine
This summer, I’m starting things off with a little refresh in our master bedroom—specifically, the bookshelves that surround our bed. I wanted to lighten things up a bit, so I went with soft ocean blues, a few vintage glass bottles, and my favorite hand-blown Glassybaby candle votives from Seattle. The whole look feels so fresh, cheerful, and just a little bit beachy—perfect for summer!
I also have a handmade dried blue wreath that I’ll be adding to the shelves. I’ve realized over the years that I can rarely find exactly what I want when it comes to home decor, so I end up making a lot of it myself. And honestly? I love that. It’s so fun to create unique pieces that truly reflect my style and make our home feel more personal.
So this summer, let’s get creative together! Whether it’s a wreath, a little table centerpiece, or a fun craft project, it’s always the perfect time to add a few handmade touches to your home. I hope today’s post gives you lots of ideas to get started!
Cheers,
