This White Daisy Wreath DIY is an easy project. And it’s a perfect spring or summer wreath for inside your home and on your front door. Even if you’re not a crafty person, you’ll have no problem making this simple wreath.
This quick craft project only takes about ten minutes to create
I love making decorating our home with wreaths since they instantly change the decor for the seasons. I have a ton of wreaths that I’ve made over the years. Here are a few of my summer wreaths that you might enjoy making.
A White Daisy Wreath
Daisies are such a happy flower.
And if you watched the movie, You’ve Got Mail, and Joe Fox says to Kathleen Kelly that They’re such a friendly flower!
And since they’re friendly and happy flowers, they belong on a wreath to welcome in friends and family.
I used white daisies, but buy some yellow, pink, or orange daisies if you like a more colorful wreath.
How to Make Your Wreath
The beauty of this summer wreath is that you don’t need many supplies to make this wreath. Joann’s stock was low, but they had some online to order.
Supplies You’ll Need:
4 bunches of faux daisies ( I bought my daisies at Joann’s)
eucalyptus leaves
Step 1 – Trim Daisies
I went through and cut the daisies off the bouquet. I had two bunches of daisies, ones that were five inches and the other batch was two inches of stems.
Step 2 – Place Daisies in the Grapevine Wreath
First, place your short-stemmed daises on top part of your wreath. Poke the stem through the open sections of your grapevine wreath. Add the longer stemmed daisies on top of the short-stemmed daisies to add height and movement. Cover the whole wreath with your daisies and fill in empty spaces.
I tucked a few eucalyptus leaves into the wreath for color contrast.
Step 3 – Make a Bow
I made a multi-looped bow by making wrapping it three times and then pinching the middle of the loop and tying bakers twine around the ribbon and then tying it off with a piece of ribbon in the middle. I then attached the bow to the side of the wreath with a daisy stem.
Attach a ribbon or fishing line to the wreath and hang it onto a wall or door when hanging the wreath.
Optional Versions
- Use different colored daisies
- Hot glue the flowers to the grapevine wreath
- Don’t add eucalyptus leaves
- Add other flowers
- Add small faux lemons
- Use faux gerbera daisies
- Instead of a grapevine wreath, use a styrofoam wreath
