A Personal Note from Janine
My husband and I lived in Oregon and Washington, and my parents would visit us every summer. It was my mom’s favorite trip. She looked forward to picking wild blackberries near our home and making jars of jam and fruit pie fillings.
Now that she’s no longer with us, I still cherish her love of fruits. Every summer, I think of her and treasure the memories of picking fruit together. I wish she were still alive so we could spend time in the kitchen making jams and pie fillings.
All I have now are fond memories and photos of her, so sharing my mom’s love for baking and fruit with you is a lovely thing.

Latest Obsession – Ninja Creami Ice Cream Maker
My husband can’t eat regular ice cream, so I was eager to try out this ice cream maker. So far, I’ve made several different dairy-free ice creams, and they are fabulous. They’re creamy and delicious, unlike any store-bought ice cream.
My husband is thrilled to finally have a wonderful alternative to regular ice cream. I’m also delighted that making these ice creams is super easy. The hardest part is waiting for them to freeze for 24 hours! Churning only takes a couple of minutes!
