I start each morning with a bowl of Greek Yogurt with Fruit for Breakfast. Create your homemade yogurt parfaits using seasonal fruit and plain Greek yogurt. It’s a healthy and more satisfying alternative to cold cereal.
If you need ideas for combining different ingredients for your family’s yogurt parfaits, then this post will hopefully help you.

Greek Yogurt with Fruit
For years, my dear friend Elisabeth mentioned that her husband made her favorite breakfast, yogurt, and berries, on our morning walks. At the time, I didn’t think twice about her breakfast.
Well, I guess her comment about her berries and yogurt did plant a seed in my brain and I eventually tried making it for breakfast.
So, for the last couple of years, I have had fruit and Greek yogurt for breakfast every morning. Rarely do I miss eating this delicious bowl of yumminess.
I’ve created six different yogurt flavors for you today. I must tell you that I did limit myself to six versions since I had to get this post photographed and published. I had quite a few more that I wanted to share.
So with that said, let this be a launching point for you to discover your favorite combination of fruit.
Here is some fruit you can add to your yogurt bowls.
- Apples/Apple Sauce
- Apricots
- Bananas
- Blackberries
- Blueberries
- Cantaloupe
- Dried Cranberries
- Kiwi

- Pears
- Papaya
- Peaches
- Persimmons
- Pineapple
- Raspberries
- Strawberries
