Where to Find Beautiful Ceramics Online
Since our Shelter in Place began in March, our kitchen has been the most used room in the house. And lately, I feel like dinners are the only entertainment in our lives right now. We are cooking great meals and enjoying the whole entertaining scene with just our family. It is so funny that right now I am all about everything encompassing dinners and meals.
And since we are speaking of dinning, our everyday plates are getting a workout too. We have a gazillion white porcelain dishes from Crate and Barrel. I love how plain our dinnerware. You see, I made the choice to invest in only white dishes so I can easily add more unique items for a bit of pizzazz.
So, when I was perusing the web for some beautiful ceramics that I could add to my dinnerware, I found this shop, Zohar Shaham Ceramic Designs.
Oh my goodness, you’re going to enjoy their products.
This ceramic shop is our Boutique feature of the week. Let’s get to know Zohar!
Here is her summary of her company:
My name is Zohar, I live in the southern district of Israel, in a beautiful small village.
I have graduated from the ceramics department at Bezalel Academy of art and design, Jerusalem in 2005.
Since then, I design, create, and teach ceramic.
My idea is to create a product of high quality, and I challenge myself every day to fulfill it.
Inspired by everyday life at my country-side home, I create designs that will be functional as well as delicate, aesthetic, and that will create harmony in any home.
My choices of colors, shapes, and patterns reflect my love for nature around me and my home.
I find these beautiful ceramics to be works of art. I love her elegant lines and the shapes of her bowls, mugs, and plates. There is something very tactile and soothing about her designs.
There is a funny thing about my family. Three of the four family members have firm opinions about dishes. For instance, they have their favorite mugs, glasses, and bowls! It is so out of control, I totally believe that I could write a whole blog post about this issue. Does your family have the same idiosyncrasies?
Well, I’m just as guilty.
Gorgeous and Handmade Ceramic Bowls
Alright, back to the topic of beautiful ceramics. There is nothing quite as beautiful as a white bowl. I have an old bowl that I adore, and my family just chipped it. I was so bummed when I recently noticed the chip. Eventually, I’ll be back in the market for another one, since we use large bowls for everything under the sun. In my opinion, you can’t have enough dishes in your kitchen.
Ok, without further delay let’s take a look at Zohar’s beautiful bowls.
This exquisite ceramic set of three dishes is for either baking or serving, and we’d love to see what you decide to do with it. It’s minimalist, and elegant design makes it suitable for both fancy dinners as well as last-minute summertime picnics in your garden. This set is handmade with a lead-free glaze, making it entirely food-safe. Use it for yourself or treat your special-someone as a gift – you can even present it to them with your baked cake already inside.
These unique striped ramen bowls are handmade with the utmost care using lead-free glazing, making them entirely food-safe. Their aesthetics create a rustic country-home vibe instantly, radiating a warm and inviting atmosphere. I make all of my pieces with elegance and usability in mind, and they do love being used daily.
Best to be used for your soups, fresh-leaf salads, noodle dishes, or diced fruit, or as a perfect wintry gift for friends who love to feast. We challenge you to make it into your morning-time cereal bowl!
There is nothing more inviting than a massive salad bowl, and this one isn’t just any bowl. Its unique combination of rounded dynamics with straight angled drops creates a real eye-catching shape.
This set of personal-sized bowls is made to suit your end-of-dinner needs, suitable for either baking individual dessert pieces for each guest, or use as serving dishes for ice cream, yogurts, and fruit, and even for an old-school comforting cup of cocoa. If you are in the mood to make some almond custard ice cream, then check out my recipe!
Pretty Ceramic Coffee Mugs
The perfect coffee or tea mug is a common topic in our family. Some like big cups and others like small plain mugs. I’m sure you probably haven’t even thought about why you grab certain cups in the morning for your daily coffee. Well, let’s take a look at this sampling of cups.
