Happy Spring to you all! Yes, Spring is my favorite time of year, and I love all the pretty fresh colors that surround this lovely season. Well, as you can see, my love for Spring made an appearance in our dining room. Today, let’s take a peek and also learn How to Arrange Simple Table Decor.
I pulled out all my soft pink decor and my trusty white table cloth and got busy decorating the table. My friends were busy too this week, and they are joining me with their spring tables. I hope you have a chance to view their beautiful tables also.
Spring Tables And Decor Are My Favorites!
So, when I’m not hiking the lush green hills of California, I’m at home playing with pretty flowers and decor. And decorating a spring table decor is one of my favorite things to do. My Easter Table from last year is slated for the spring edition of the publication of Easter magazine.
Ok, let’s get this show on the road, and I’ll try and keep this short and share how to arrange simple table decor.
Use Flowers and Vases
I recently went into San Francisco and met a friend at the flower market. The warehouse was bursting with bright and pretty flowers and rows of ranunculus, peonies, stocks, and even dainty sweet peas. I bought a few bouquets of white ranunculus and sweet-smelling narcissus bridal crown flowers. A florist friend said always to arrange a bouquet with one or more scented flowers and the double petaled narcissus smell divine.
Next, I asked my lovely neighbor if I could snag a few of her pink Chinese Magnolia blossoms to add a splash of pink to my bouquets. I made an effort to keep my flower arrangements simple this time since I wanted the rest of the decor to be the stars.
By the way, these cool rattan vases I bought at the Alameda Antique Fair. I love how casual they are and how they add just the perfect amount of warmth to the table. Here are some similar containers you could use. Btw, I also line mine with a plastic bag so I can add water for the flowers.
Add Easter Candies
In my former life, I worked at an opera company, and part of my job involved decorating tables for special events. And one thing that I always made sure the table included were candies. They are like little accents of color that are easy to sprinkle them around for simple table decor. So, don’t be afraid to add bowls of candies and food to the table.
Also, I love colorful candy, foiled chocolate eggs, and how they reflect the light. Anything that sparkles is a bonus.
Roll Out Spring Decor
I couldn’t resist adding these adorable bunnies. Pottery Barn always has a collection of spring decor that puts a smile on my face. Also, I love their pink gingham napkins. I can’t find any near me, but maybe you can find them online.
Also, bring out some faux or fresh flowers and drape them on the table. This little accent adds a nice touch of Spring.

Add A Cake Stand and a Pretty Cake!
For years, I drooled over these gorgeous glass Mosser cake stands, and then finally, I took the plunge and bought one. Well, eventually I received one for my birthday and my friend, Jodie, gave me this grand pink one. They come in all sorts of colors, and they look similar to the ones that Martha Stewart displays in her magazine.
Of course, I had to place something on the cake stand so, and I whipped up this lemon cake for this post. For those of you interested, the recipe will be coming out next week. It is a yummy pound cake that will surprise you how easy it is to make.
I thoroughly enjoyed creating this simple table decor post that incorporated spring touches. I must admit that I have a ton more spring projects up my sleeve, so make sure to check back.
