Time to get baking in the kitchen with these Cookie Recipes for Christmas! Since Thanksgiving is officially over, get ready for the holidays by starting with my delicious desserts.
Believe it or not, I haven’t baked many new recipes this month because I rely on my old desserts to save the season. After all, they are that delicious!
What’s your go-to- traditional dessert you make every Christmas? Mine would either have to be thumbprint cookies or my crispy chocolate chip cookies. Yes, they are essential recipes but are also some of the best cookie recipes for Christmas! Let me know your favorite treat, so maybe you can try some of mine, and I’ll test out some of yours!
There’s nothing better than having a warm house with dessert scents wafting through the air. That’s easily one of my favorite parts about baking, is that the house smells so good afterward. Plus, I love creating delicious dishes for my family. What about you? I know not everyone loves to bake, let alone cook, but there are also some people out there that enjoy the heck out of it.
These recipes are some of the best cookie recipes for Christmas. I guarantee there is something here for everyone, whether you’re a beginner, professional, or just looking for something new to try this holiday season!
Saturday Chitchat with Janine – Volume 43
Hello and happy Saturday!
It’s finally the weekend. I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving full of good company and even better food. I sure had a great turkey day and was surprised by how many leftovers we had, and it seems to be that every year we eat less and less! Not that I’m complaining though, my family loves Thanksgiving
leftovers! One thing I will say is, it sure makes planning dinners a lot easier.
Now that one holiday is over, it’s time to start thinking about the next holiday, Christmas! So here are some of my favorite cookie recipes for Christmas that will make you wonder why you haven’t made them earlier.
So, for all of those bakers that want to wow your family and friends this year, take a look at these desserts! Seriously, you won’t regret it. It’s always nice to try something different and bake your traditional goods because everyone likes a slight change in tasting treats!
Since we all know I love baking, I must add that I have also been binge-watching The Great Britsh Baking Show to get me into the Christmas spirit of baking. So, why not join me! Together, let’s chain-watch episodes of some of the best bakers in the world while baking some of my cookie recipes for Christmas!
A Personal Note from Janine
Happy Saturday!
I hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving with family and friends. It’s so beautiful to have my family all home for the holidays. And speaking of the holidays, we are busy with lots of craft projects and baking.
I have a lot scheduled for the blog, and I’m excited to share them with you in the next couple of weeks.
Behind the blog scene, I stay up late working on posts, and I’m up bright and early to begin my day. Thank goodness, I don’t require too much sleep, so I can get everything done.
My husband doesn’t know how I stay so focused and productive! If you know anything about my parents and four brothers, we have a few things in common. We are super concentrated!
Michael laughs that we all have an obsessive quality that stands out among all of us!
Of course, we all obsess about different things, but in the end, we all have something we go over the top with! I have two brothers that can’t fish enough. My other brother loves photography, and he is the one that takes my blog photos. And my fourth brother loves golfing! And then there is me, who loves to bake, craft and blog!
But, I guess you can say that this personality quality drives me over here on the blog.
Well, I love what I do! So thanks so much for subscribing to our blog and newsletter!
Cheers,

A couple of months ago, I bought a Merry and Bright one in my bedroom, and I love it. These pillows always make me smile.
