A Personal Note from Janine
My favorite thing to do is have The Great British Baking Show on while I bake in the kitchen.
If I made it on the show, I wouldn’t survive the first round. But I love to imagine myself tackling the baking challenges.
My recent baking included my mother-in-law’s brownie recipe. And I ended up making the brownies three times. Don’t they say, third times a charm? With each failure, I learn new baking techniques, like you can’t cheat using butter that’s not quite at room temperature.
Well, the new recipe is finally on the blog, and I hope you have a chance to check out these yummy brownies!
This weekend my husband and I are starting my monthly Cake ChallWeek’s
I’m excited about Valentine’s monthly project. I want to challenge myself and you to bake some cool cakes. I hope it will inspire you to bake in the kitchen and then if you can send me your cake photos.
And I plan to share your photos on my blog and in my newsletters.
Cheers to creating some fantastic desserts! Here’s to building a fun baking community.
Off to make a Chantilly cake with my husband.
Hit’s Saturday!
